Get Up and Go Meal Ideas - Monday
Breakfast
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 slice Country Harvest Flax bread, toasted
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 3/4 cup your choice of yogourt (< 2% M.F.)
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
Morning Snack
- 1/2 cup strawberries
Lunch
- 1/2 cup vegetable juice
- 1 Country Harvest Twelve Grain bagel, toasted, with 3 oz tuna, 1 tsp calorie-reduced mayonnaise, tomato and alfalfa sprouts
- 1/2 cup carrot and raisin salad
- 1 cup watermelon
Afternoon Snack
- 1 small low-fat raspberry bran muffin
- 1 cup skim or 1% M.F. milk
Dinner
- Oriental stir-fry made from 1 cup your choice of vegetables (bok-choy, carrots, onions, zucchini, broccoli, snow peas, etc.), 1/2 cup firm tofu or 3 oz pork strips, seasoned with low-sodium soy sauce and fresh ginger
- 1 slice Country Harvest Whole Wheat bread, toasted
- 1/2 cup mango sherbet
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
