Get Up and Go Meal Ideas - Wednesday
Breakfast
- 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
- 1 toasted Country Harvest Flax bagel
- 2 oz cheese (< 20% M.F.)
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
Morning Snack
- 2 low-fat date cookies
- 1 cup skim or 1 % M.F. milk
Lunch
- 1/2 cup vegetable juice
- 1 Ranch-Style Scrambled Egg Sandwich with Country Harvest Seven Grain bread
- 1 cup fresh vegetable salad and 1 tbsp homemade dressing (mix 1 tsp raspberry vinegar and 2 tsp olive oil)
- 1/2 cup fresh seasonal fruit
Afternoon Snack
- 1/2 cup frozen yogourt
Dinner
- 4 oz roasted salmon sprinkled with fresh lemon and fine herbs
- 1/2 cup vegetable couscous (1/2 cup couscous mixed with 1/3 cup mixed vegetables of your choice: onions, celery and red peppers)
- 1 cup mini corn cob and palm heart salad with 1 tbsp homemade dressing (mix 1 tsp balsamic vinegar and 2 tsp olive oil)
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
