Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Saturday
Breakfast
- 1/2 of a grapefruit
- 2 slices of Country Harvest Stone Milled 100% Whole Wheat bread
- 50 g of cheese (<20% M.F.)
- 1 cup of coffee or tea
Morning Snack
- 2 tbsp of dried apricots and cranberries
Lunch
- 1 cup of minestrone soup
- 1 cup of chicken salad (3 oz of chicken, with 1/4 cup of celery, peppers, onions, orange zest, and 1 tbsp of calorie-reduced mayonnaise)
- 1/2 cup of seasonal fruit
Afternoon Snack
- 1 slice of Country Harvest Seven Grain bread with 1 tbsp of almond butter
- 1 cup of skim or 1% milk
Dinner
- Beef and vegetable sauté prepared with (3 oz of beef, 1/2 cup of vegetables served on 1 cup of vermicelli noodles)
- 1 cup of Greek salad (tomatoes, onions, black olives, and feta) with 1 tbsp of light vinaigrette
- 1 baked apple with cinnamon
- 1 cup of water, coffee or tea
