Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Sunday

Breakfast

  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 slices toasted Country Harvest Flax bread
  • Western omelette prepared with 2 eggs, 1 tbsp milk, 1/2 cup fresh vegetables your choice, 1 tbsp grated cheese (<20% M.F.)
  • 1/2 cup roasted potatoes
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup coffee or tea*

Morning Snack

Lunch

  • Pea soup
  • 1 slice Country Harvest Twelve Grain bread with 50 g salmon and 1 tsp calorie-reduced mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup raw vegetables
  • 1/2 cup pear sauce with no sugar added
  • 1 cup skim or 1% milk

Afternoon Snack

  • 1 yogourt smoothie prepared with 3/4 cups yogourt, 1/2 cup frozen fruit, 1/4 cup orange juice

Dinner

  • 1 1/2 cups penne with marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grilled vegetables (eggplant and zucchini)
  • Fruit square
  • 1 cup skim or 1% milk
  • 1 cup water, coffee or tea
