Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Friday

Breakfast

Morning Snack

  • 1/2 cup exotic fruit salad (kiwi, mango, papaya)

Lunch

  • 1/2 cup vegetable juice
  • vegetable couscous salad (1/2 cup canned beans, 1/2 cup couscous, 1/2 cup fresh vegetables, with 1 tbsp vinaigrette)
  • 1 slice Country Harvest Whole Wheat bread
  • 1/2 cup pear sauce with no sugar added

Afternoon Snack

  • 1 low-fat, medium-sized cranberry bran muffin
  • 1 cup skim or 1% milk

Dinner

  • 1 cup vegetable soup
  • 4 oz fillet sole with lemon butter and capers
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup salad with fresh vegetables and 1 tbsp light vinaigrette
  • 1/2 cup frozen yogourt garnished with 1/2 cup seasonal fruit
  • 1 cup water, coffee or tea
