Nutrition Made Easy Meal Ideas - Friday
Breakfast
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 2 slices toasted Country Harvest Sunflower Flax bread
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup yogourt
- 1 cup coffee or tea
Morning Snack
- 1/2 cup exotic fruit salad (kiwi, mango, papaya)
Lunch
- 1/2 cup vegetable juice
- vegetable couscous salad (1/2 cup canned beans, 1/2 cup couscous, 1/2 cup fresh vegetables, with 1 tbsp vinaigrette)
- 1 slice Country Harvest Whole Wheat bread
- 1/2 cup pear sauce with no sugar added
Afternoon Snack
- 1 low-fat, medium-sized cranberry bran muffin
- 1 cup skim or 1% milk
Dinner
- 1 cup vegetable soup
- 4 oz fillet sole with lemon butter and capers
- 1 cup egg noodles
- 1 cup salad with fresh vegetables and 1 tbsp light vinaigrette
- 1/2 cup frozen yogourt garnished with 1/2 cup seasonal fruit
- 1 cup water, coffee or tea
