Get Up and Go Meal Ideas - Friday
Breakfast
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple
- 1 Country Harvest Whole Wheat bagel, toasted
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 cup skim or 1% M.F. milk
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
Morning Snack
- 1/2 cup seasonal fruit salad
- 1 small low-fat raspberry bran muffin
Lunch
- 1/2 cup vegetable juice
- Chickpea and fruit salad made with 1/2 cup chickpeas, 10 grapes, 1/2 apple, 1/2 celery stalk, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp homemade dressing (2 tsp walnut oil and 1 tsp apple cider vinegar)
- 1 slice Country Harvest Whole Wheat bread
- 3/4 cup your choice of yogourt (< 2% M.F.)
Afternoon Snack
- 4 tbsp dried fruit and nut mix
Dinner
- 2 Whole Grain Pizzas made with Country Harvest Twelve Grain bread
- 1 cup fresh vegetable salad with 1 tbsp homemade dressing (of your choice, any previous one)
- 1/2 cup mango sherbet
- 1 cup water, tea or coffee
