2 Bagels Sesame
4 tbsp. of unsalted butter, softened
4 large eggs
1 tbsp. of water
Salt & Pepper to taste
Optional 2 oz. of smoked salmon, bacon or avocado

How to make

1. If necessary, widen the holes of the bagel halves by a few centimeters or inches using a small pairing knife
2. Spread bagel halves evenly with butter on both sides.
3. Warm a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Place bagel halves, cut side up, in skillet. Cook until golden brown about 2 to 3 minutes
4. Flip bagel halves cut sides down and reduce heat to low. Crack eggs into the bagel holes and pour 1 tbsp. of water around the edge of the skillet and cover with a lid.
5. Cook the egg until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your desired doneness, 5 to 8 minutes.
6. Transfer the bagel halves to a plate; season with salt and pepper. Serve with smoked salmon, bacon or avocado if you choose.
