1 loaf of Country Harvest® Ancient Grains with Red Fife
½ cup of butter
​ ¼ tsp. Italian seasoning​
1 cup of pesto
1 cup of parmesan cheese (shredded)

1 cup of parmesan cheese (shredded)

How to make

1. Place 2 non-stick lined baking sheets (if you don’t have non-stick feel free to line with tin foil).
2. Preheat the oven to 400◦F​.
3. In a microwave safe bowl or on the stove melt butter and Italian seasonings​.
4. Using a brush lightly spread butter evenly across each piece of bread and then top with pesto. ​
5. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until the bread is crispy and lightly golden brown​.
6. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese place back in the oven under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted. ​
7. Slice in halves or fourths and serve with soup, pasta, or as a quick and easy appetizer.​
